AIMLESS PURPOSEFUL CONTRAST
Before Jesus / After Jesus
Key Scripture: “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:6 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works…” — Ephesians 2:10
Reflect
Before Jesus, life can feel like wandering without a map—driven by survival, distraction, or fear. We chase success, approval, or escape, only to end up disoriented and weary. The destination? Unknown.
But after Jesus, every step begins to matter. We aren’t just existing—we’re called. God doesn’t just hand us a purpose; He walks with us in it. We're not accidents—we're intentional designs, made to bring light and hope.
Purpose isn’t just about doing something meaningful. It’s about knowing Whose you are and walking with Him day by day.
Apply
Identify the detours: What habits or patterns keep you wandering aimlessly?
Name your calling: Ask God to show you one area He’s inviting you to step into with purpose.
Take aligned steps: What’s one way you can live intentionally this week—whether it’s a conversation, a quiet surrender, or a bold move?
Pray
Father, I’ve spent too long chasing shadows and distractions. But You’ve called me by name. I want to walk with You into a life of purpose. Show me the good works You’ve prepared for me. Help me trust Your timing and direction. Make me a reflection of Your love in motion. Amen.
