Parable: The Thought Curator

In a city overwhelmed by screens and sounds, a young woman inherited a gallery. But instead of paintings, the walls displayed her thoughts every worry, every comparison, every echo of shame.

Visitors came daily, judging the gallery. “Too dark,” some said. “Too chaotic,” others whispered.

One day, a stranger entered and said, “You don’t have to display everything. You’re the curator, not the captive.”

He handed her a list: True, Noble, Right, Pure, Lovely, Admirable, Excellent, Praiseworthy.

She began to remove the harshest pieces and replace them with light memories of grace, moments of beauty, whispers of truth.

The gallery changed. Not because the world got quieter, but because she chose what to frame.

Daily Practice: The Gallery Ritual

Each morning, ask: “What am I displaying in my mind today?”

Day 1 – Frame the True: Write down one truth from Scripture or your life that anchors you.

Day 2 – Spotlight the Lovely: Capture one beautiful moment—sunlight, kindness, laughter.

Day 3 – Remove the Unworthy: Identify one recurring thought that doesn’t align with Philippians 4:8. Replace it with something noble or admirable.

Repeat weekly. Let your mind become a sanctuary, not a storage unit.
