Parable: “The Empty Mug”
In a city that never sleeps, a young woman named Maya walks into a dimly lit café with nothing left to give. Her dreams are frayed, her ambition exhausted. The barista, an older man with kind eyes, serves her a cup labeled “Empty.” Confused, she sips it—and begins to cry. The man says, “Only the empty can be filled.” Around her, others sip from similar cups. No one is performing. No one is pretending. And somehow, in that shared emptiness, she feels whole.

Coaching Suggestion Exercise: “The Empty Mug Exercise”
Setup:
Find a simple mug. Write “EMPTY” on it
Place it somewhere visible on a desk, nightstand, altar space.
Daily Practice:
Each morning, hold the mug and say aloud:
“I come with empty hands. I release the need to impress, control, or pretend. I am ready to receive what I cannot earn.”
This spoken declaration reframes emptiness as readiness not failure. It’s a daily surrender of ego, striving, and spiritual self-sufficiency.
Then ask:
“What grace might be waiting for me today, now that I’ve made space?”
This ritual reframes emptiness as sacred readiness. It’s not weakness it’s the doorway to divine encounter.
Integration Tip:
Share this practice with a friend or small group. You won't believe what will happen next. It's Life Changing
Vulnerability is contagious. When one person admits their emptiness, it gives others permission to do the same and opens the door to communal healing.
