Lost vs Found Contrast

Redemption, Identity, and Divine Pursuit

Before Jesus: Lost and Searching

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way…” — Isaiah 53:6a

Reflection Being lost isn't always dramatic—it can feel like restlessness, disconnection, or chasing things that never satisfy. Scripture reminds us that wandering is a universal experience; every soul, at some point, strays. But God’s heart isn’t passive. Even in our lostness, He’s already seeking.

Before Jesus, identity is fragile and direction is blurry. Yet even then, divine pursuit is underway.

After Jesus: Found and Embraced

“…and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” — Isaiah 53:6b “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — Luke 19:10

Reflection To be found is not just being located—it’s being loved back to life. Jesus didn’t come to scold the lost but to rescue, restore, and rejoice over them. The cross is proof: He carried our wandering so we could come home.

Now, found in Him, your identity is sealed and your story is redeemed. You’re not just seen—you’re celebrated.
